work.

now.

I am a founding engineer at Tavily in New York City.

Tavily is a web access layer for AI agents, providing the world's largest enterprises with agent-native infrastructure to search, scrape, and crawl the web. Tavily currently powers 2M+ developers and serves tens of millions of requests per day, with over a billion all-time queries answered.

I joined Tavily in 2024 at seed-stage as the second engineering hire. I helped scale the company from 5 to 100+ employees and <$1M to $25M+ in ARR. Tavily was acquired by Nebius Group in February 2026 for $275M.

Engineering-wise, I developed Tavily's early retrieval and scraping infrastructure, scaled Tavily Crawl from 1,000 to 500,000+ monthly requests, and built the Tavily NPM SDK, which has over 8.5M downloads.

Prior to Tavily, I worked as a student software developer at ELFIN, a UCLA lab building CubeSats. I was responsible for developing software to track satellite locations and control antenna orientations.
